Canada continues to be a leading player in the documentary world. The CTV Canadian Documart provides a platform for Canadian producers and those partnered with Canadians to compete for the worlds richest prize: $100,000 in development funding is split between the three winners in this competition. Pitchers vie for the the interest of a panel representing dozens of broadcasting organizations. $50,000 goes to the winner; $30,000 for the project in second place; and $20,000 for third. Who will take home the grand prize?

Following on the success of last year's Town Hall forum, the industry's top power brokers will once again converge for an hour-long interactive strategy session on how to improve the funding system in Canada. This open-ended forum hinges on audience participation, and so provides delegates with a rare opportunity to air their gripes and offer fresh insights and outside-the-box suggestions directly to industry leaders in an casual setting. The objective is to consolidate current thinking and develop directives for improving the system.

It's a wrap! Join your hosts, Alberta Film and the Alberta Production Community, at Mount Norquays scenic timber-frame Cascade Lodge for our closing Party. This is a wonderful occasion to connect with friends and fellow delegates and one last chance to lock in the deal, under the stars of a beautiful Rocky Mountain night.
Relax and enjoy traditional barbeque fare, cash bar, and live music. With conference sessions drawn to a close, prize money handed out and work hats thrown aside, come join us at Norquay to celebrate the possibilities!
* Note: Complimentary bus transportation from the Fairmont Banff Springs to Mount Norquay and back will be provided. Buses will leave from the Courtyard, Conference Centre at the Fairmont Banff Springs at 6:30 pm and 7:15 pm. Return buses to the Fairmont Banff Springs will leave Mount Norquay at 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm, 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm (with one stop downtown Banff, if required).
