BANFF 2005 Social Events
Each day delegates network over a morning coffee, step on to the patio for some sunshine and brainstorming, raise glasses at a cocktail receptions and mingle at lavish gala parties. Meet new partners and reunite with friends from around the world - it's the 'fest' in Festival!
Access to all official social events (excluding the Golf Tournament) is included with all registrations, except Daily Registrations which include social events for that day only. Your delegate badge must be presented for admittance to all Festival events. Additional passes for guests may be purchased on-site.

Fore! Back by popular demand, the Banff World Television Festival is pleased to announce the Golf Tournament will be played on Sunday, June 12th, 2005, at the world-renowned, panoramic Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. This year, the Festival will donate all proceeds raised through the tournament to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, to help AIDS sufferers and their families in Africa.

Canada BANFF Mentorship Award, sponsored by WIFT-T Presentations will be made. Delegates are invited to join host Peter Keleghan and the winners for lunch. Enjoy culinary delights and honour these ground-breaking, innovative and much-deserving award winners.
This lunch is open to all delegates, however seating is limited so advanced sign-up is required. Reservations can be made in the delegate area of this website starting on May 30. Please be prompt for this lunch, your reservation must be claimed on time or your seat will be given away.

Designed by producer-writer Rich Elwood and the BANFF team, the stage showcases a compilation of writers, producers and actors (who are also Festival delegates), and invites audience members to 'pitch-in' with their own jokes, a 'funny pitch' contest and improv games. It's a great chance for delegates to put their comedic talents on display for global broadcasters, and for everyone to relax in a fun, informal environment.
