Canadian Documart - SOLD

This plenary session provides a platform for Canadian producers and those partnered with Canadian producers to compete for the world's richest pitch prize. Eight finalists will compete for prizes totaling $100,000 before a panel of international and Canadian commissioning editors.
   

Fellowship and Mentorship Programs - SOLD

These programs, with titling opportunity, are intended to encourage professional development in the television industry by enabling emerging creative talent to travel to and attend the Festival free of charge and receive mentorship from industry professionals while in Banff.

The Pitchers' Paradise is a dynamic and entertaining forum that brings together independent producers to pitch new projects to commissioning editors and to discuss how their projects could be financed. Held as three separate sessions for Children's/Drama and Comedy/Reality and Lifestyle.

New Players' Pitch: Newcomers to Banff and those with one production credit or less can make a three-minute pitch to commissioning editors and producers and compete for cash and product prizes. Prizes also available for sponsorship.

Delegates at Banff must stay in touch and need to access their e-mail and the Internet several times a day. The Internet Café, located in the heart of the main conference area, features dedicated wireless access for those with laptops as well as computer workstations for those who have left their laptops behind.
